Welcome to Wild & Pree

At Wild & Pree, we design with heart, create with intention, and infuse every piece with joyful, vibrant energy. We challenge the fashion industry’s outdated norms of mass production — and mass waste, promote size inclusivity, and craft clothing that celebrates individuality.

Our Core Principles

Our brand's philosophy is rooted in four core principles that aim to challenge the status quo of traditional fashion and hopes to redefine what planet-friendly & inclusive fashion can be. Every Wild & Pree garment stands by these four guiding principles:

1. Size Inclusivity

At Wild & Pree, we are committed to true plus-size inclusion, ensuring everyone feels stylish, included, and celebrated. Every design is available in sizes up to 70 inches in bust. This dedication means sourcing or creating custom wide-width fabrics, prioritizing flattering silhouettes for plus-size bodies, and meticulously spending countless hours iterating and grading all our designs to represent real plus-size shapes.

2. Make-to-Order Sustainability

At Wild & Pree, every single piece is crafted only after it’s ordered. This eliminates waste, reduces overproduction, and honors the planet’s resources. To make this possible, we’ve built a unique setup where every garment is individually drafted and cut, instead of layering and mass-cutting fabric. Unlike fast fashion, which often moves unsold products straight to landfills, we take pride in making each piece for a home that’s already waiting for it!

3. Natural Fibers Only

We are committed to using exclusively natural, biodegradable fibers that are gentle on your skin and the Earth. We have sworn off polyester, plastic, acrylic, spandex, and elastane because they are harmful to the planet, take centuries to decompose, release microplastics daily, and negatively impact animals and human life. While synthetics are cheaper and make fabrics more affordable, they don’t align with our values and our planet's future.

4. Self-Expression Through Color

We believe your clothes should reflect who you are. At Wild & Pree, we celebrate individuality through bold colors & artistic designs that empower self-expression and inspire confidence. Life is too short for dull wardrobes —so we create vibrant, colorful pieces that help you shine unapologetically.

Why Size Inclusivity Matters

At Wild & Pree, size inclusivity is more than a value —it’s a mission rooted in empathy and experience. Traditional fashion has long marginalized plus-size individuals, with most brands capping sizes at 16-18 or offering poorly designed garments that fail to fit real plus-size bodies. Research shows that 68% of American women wear a size 14 or above, yet they represent only 20% of the apparel market. This lack of representation fosters exclusion and forces many to settle for clothes that are unflattering, uncomfortable, or uninspired.

Creating truly size-inclusive fashion isn’t easy —it’s a challenge we embrace. Designing for larger sizes requires rethinking patterns, sourcing or producing wider-width fabrics, and investing in extended grading processes that reflect the diversity of plus-size bodies. Most brands lack plus size inclusion & avoid these steps, citing additional costs and complexities. At Wild & Pree, we see this work as essential, not optional, because every body deserves clothes that fit beautifully and feel joyful.

For Pree, this mission is deeply personal. Growing up plus-size, she struggled to find clothing that fit well and matched her vibrant personality. Shopping trips often ended in frustration and diminished self-esteem. These experiences of being overlooked by the fashion industry inspired her to create Wild & Pree —a brand where every body is celebrated and seen.

We are proud to offer sizes up to 70 inches in bust (and beyond), ensuring no one is left out. Wild & Pree is dedicated to redefining fashion by prioritizing inclusion, representation, and respect for all. Because everyone deserves to feel stylish, confident, and valued —no exceptions.

Why Made-to-Order Fashion Matters

The traditional fashion industry thrives on mass production, churning out billions of garments annually, many of which never find a home. Studies show that 30% of clothing made globally goes unsold, often ending up in landfills or being incinerated. This cycle of overproduction creates staggering amounts of waste, with the fashion industry generating over 92 million tons of textile waste each year. These practices harm the planet, waste valuable resources, and disregard the environmental costs of disposable fashion.

At Wild & Pree, we challenge this norm with a made-to-order philosophy. Every garment we create is crafted only after it’s ordered. This approach eliminates overproduction, reduces waste, and ensures that every piece is made for a home that’s already waiting for it. While this model is more complex—it requires agile manufacturing, precise forecasting, and skilled craftsmanship—we believe it’s a necessary shift to honor the planet and redefine sustainable fashion.

For Pree, this philosophy is inspired by her childhood. She grew up watching her grandmother repurpose every scrap of fabric, giving materials second and third lives. Nothing went to waste —an old sari could become a quilt, and leftover fabric from stitching blouses would transform into playful patchwork pieces. This deep respect for resources left a lasting impression, shaping Wild & Pree’s commitment to thoughtful, zero-waste production.

By making every piece to order, we’re not just creating clothing —we’re building a movement toward mindful consumption. At Wild & Pree, we believe fashion should be intentional, sustainable, and waste-free, paving the way for a future where every garment has a purpose.

Why Natural Fabrics Matter

The majority of clothing today is made with synthetic materials like polyester, spandex, and acrylic, which is cheap to produce but devastating for the planet. These fabrics shed microplastics with every wash —up to 700,000 microplastic fibers per load —that pollute waterways, harm marine life, and infiltrate our food chain. Additionally, synthetic fabrics can take centuries to decompose, contributing to the growing crisis of textile waste.

At Wild & Pree, we are committed to doing things differently. We exclusively use natural, biodegradable fibers that are gentle on the Earth and kind to your skin. This means completely eliminating all forms of plastic in our clothing, even in small blends. While natural fibers can be more expensive and challenging to source, and creating durable alternatives for traditionally synthetic products like winterwear requires additional innovation, we believe this is a necessary shift for a sustainable future.

For instance, our 100% cotton sweatshirts, are a rare find in a market dominated by plastic-blended fabrics. It’s a small but significant step toward redefining what responsible fashion looks like.

This is just the beginning. While we’re proud of the progress we’ve made, we acknowledge there’s still much work ahead. By embracing natural fibers and rejecting synthetics, we aim to set a new standard for sustainable fashion—one that prioritizes the health of the planet and its people. Together, we can move toward a future where fashion is both beautiful and responsible.

How is Wild & Pree unique vs. other brands

At Wild & Pree, we’re tackling the fashion industry's shortcomings by focusing on three core values that too many brands either ignore or address only partially: size inclusivity, sustainability, and individuality. Most brands either neglect these values entirely or prioritize one at the expense of the others. Some focus on making eco-friendly clothes but fail to include plus sizes or embrace individuality. Others may promote size inclusivity but compromise on sustainability or style. We believe fashion should reflect all three, which is why we create clothing that values inclusivity, is made to last, and allows you to express yourself boldly.

The fashion industry is one of the largest contributors to global waste, with millions of tons of textiles ending up in landfills every year. Mass production practices only worsen this problem, creating excess clothing that’s often discarded or burned when unsold. While almost all brands continue this wasteful model, we focus on made-to-order production to ensure we only create what’s needed. This approach minimizes waste, supports thoughtful consumption, and contributes to a slower, more sustainable fashion system.

Size inclusivity is equally vital. While other plus size brands often cap their sizes at 50 or 55 inches in bust, we go up to 70 inches and beyond, ensuring that everyone feels seen and celebrated. We take the time to create flattering, well-fitting garments that embrace real, diverse body shapes.

Our commitment to individuality is reflected in our designs. Unlike many brands that focus on neutral, mass-produced styles, we offer bold, artistic prints that let our customers express their true selves. Fashion should never be about fitting in—it should empower you to stand out.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. Unlike synthetic fibers like polyester, spandex and elastane, which take hundreds of years to decompose and contribute to microplastic pollution, we use only natural, biodegradable fibers such as cotton and linen. This choice reduces the environmental impact of our clothing and supports a healthier planet.

At Wild & Pree, we believe size inclusivity, sustainability, and individuality should never be separate. This is just the beginning, and we’re proud to lead the charge toward a more ethical, inclusive, and expressive fashion industry.

Meet Pree

Hi, I’m Pree, the founder of Wild & Pree. Growing up in India, I was surrounded by vibrant colors, patterns, and a culture of self-expression. This love for bold hues and rich designs became a huge part of who I am and how I view fashion. But as a plus-sized kid, I struggled to find clothing that fit both my body and my personality. The fashion industry often overlooked people like me, and that frustration eventually led me to start Wild & Pree—a brand where size inclusivity, individuality, and sustainability are at the heart of everything we do.

My background in product development and supply chain management gave me the tools to rethink how clothing is made. I’ve always been driven by a desire to create thoughtful, intentional products, and growing up with my family’s focus on repurposing and following sustainable practices, I learned the importance of reducing waste and using resources wisely. At home, nothing went to waste —fabric scraps were repurposed, and nothing was thrown away unless it absolutely had to be. These values shaped my approach to Wild & Pree.

I wanted to challenge the norms of fast fashion and create pieces that people could be proud to wear —not just because they’re beautiful, but because they’re made responsibly, with care for both the planet and the people who wear them. Our clothes are crafted with sustainable fabrics, designed to last, and made with the same love for color and creativity that inspired me as a child. Wild & Pree is more than just a brand —it’s a celebration of individuality, a commitment to sustainability, and a place where I hope everyone can find something that makes them feel seen and confident.

Love,
Pree
