🌈 Wild & Pree Newsletter — Issue 01

Hello From Our Colorful Corner of the World 💛

Welcome to the first-ever Wild & Pree newsletter—something I’ve wanted to create for ages. Consider this our new ritual: little windows into what’s happening at our women-owned, size-inclusive, slow-fashion brand.

The intention is weekly updates (manifesting!), but at the very least, you’ll hear from me every two weeks as we build this habit together. Expect behind-the-scenes stories, production updates, fabric adventures, design notes, and the joyful mayhem of running a made-to-order small business.

Why We’re Beginning This Newsletter

2025 was a LOT.

Wild & Pree expanded more this year than ever before. New silhouettes, new prints, new fabrics, new models, new everything. Most of my days were a blur of designing, approving, producing, launching, restocking, building and repeating.

Somewhere in that beautiful chaos of this very full year, I slipped into a familiar pattern:
I became so focused on making the work that I forgot to tell the story of what we were building.

So this newsletter is my early step toward a 2026 resolution — to slow down just enough to tell the story. To let you in on the “how,” the “why,” and the people and processes behind Wild & Pree. To bring you into the real behind-the-scenes of a women-run, planet-kind, size-inclusive fashion brand.

If you’re here, thank you for being a part of our colorful journey.

This Week at Wild & Pree

1. Corduroy Fabric Restock
(We’re so close!)

Our corduroy collection — 100% natural fibers, bold prints, dopamine energy — almost completely sold out in the first 10 days of launch.

Right now, we’re deep in re-printing fabric for back orders and prepping a fresh rerun. If all goes according to plan, we’ll have corduroy fabric back in hand by end of next week.

If the universe is kind, Issue #2 will officially announce:
“CORDUROY IS BACK IN STOCK!”
(Please light a candle for us.)

2. Sweatshirts, Sweater Dresses & Winter Favorites

Last winter, our 100% cotton sweatshirts had their moment. This year, we brought them back in new prints plus launched sweater dresses — our cozy, feel-good take on winter dressing.

As someone who lives for one-and-done outfits, I’ve been wearing them everywhere:
• to work
• to small holiday gatherings
• to weekend date nights
• anywhere that requires effort but… not too much effort

And on Sunday, I layered a sweatshirt under overalls for a coffee + grocery + gift-shopping run. Zero effort. Maximum cozy. Exactly the vibe.

3. Not Sure What to Gift?
Gift Cards to the Rescue

If you’re shopping for someone who loves slow fashion, bold color, natural fibers, or size-inclusive clothing
Or if you’re gently nudging friends toward sustainable fashion:

A Wild & Pree gift card is truly the perfect gift.

Why?

  1. It introduces someone to a colorful, planet-conscious small business

  2. It grows our community (thank you!)

  3. It directly supports women-owned ethical fashion

All the ingredients of a gift that means something.

4. Pantone’s Color of the Year:
Cloud White — Thoughts From a Color Lover

I absolutely cackled watching creators react to Pantone picking a white as the color of the year. The outrage! The memes! The betrayal!

As someone who adores bold, joyful color, I get it.

But: as a designer? I kinda understand it.

When we launched our Milk White range this year, we had the exact same debate:
“Are we, a rainbow-colored brand, really about to release white?”

And the answer turned out to be a big YES.

White (and black) aren’t boring — they’re the stage lights that make every bright print look even brighter. They let color roar. They create contrast, depth, and balance.

So while Cloud White might not feel like a firework, it does have a very real place in the world of color.

Curious: what do you think of the choice?

A Big Hug & A Thank You 🤍

This is our sincere first attempt at a newsletter — imperfect, honest, colorful, and straight from the heart.

If it brought you a small spark of joy or a new peek into the world of Wild & Pree, I’ve done my job.

Here’s to more storytelling, more behind-the-scenes magic, and (hopefully) weekly updates.

With love,
Pree — Founder, Wild & Pree
