Three Little Acts of Love This Valentine’s Weekend

Three Little Acts of Love This Valentine’s Weekend

Hi friends,

It’s Valentine’s weekend, and love is in the air. This year, I’m planning to keep things small but meaningful — a little more intention, a little less hoopla.

Here are three little acts of love I plan to practice this weekend:

1. Practice self-love.
We shared a small guide to simple self-love ideas on our Instagram carousel — things like wearing an outfit you’ve been saving, stepping outside for five minutes of sunlight, drinking water before coffee, stretching your shoulders, repeating a favorite outfit guilt-free, or eating something you love, slowly. Nothing huge. Just simple pleasures, enjoyed intentionally. I’m planning to pick two or three from the list and actually do them for myself.

2. Share love with strangers.
I’m setting myself a tiny challenge: compliment three strangers on their outfits.
Not in a loud way — just a simple, genuine “I love your jacket” or “That color looks amazing on you.” It’s such a small thing, but I’ve noticed how a sincere compliment can shift someone’s posture, their smile, their whole energy for a moment. It’s free, and it travels further than we think.

3. Make a card.
I’m painting a card for my boo this year. Nothing fancy — just paper, watercolor, and a little time. There’s something about making something with your hands that feels more personal than picking it off a shelf.

That’s it. Three things.
No pressure. Nothing grand. Just small, intentional love — for myself, for strangers, and for someone close to my heart.

However you’re spending Valentine’s Day — solo, with friends, with a partner, or somewhere in between — I hope you find a few little moments that feel warm and real.

Little acts count more than we give them credit for.

Thanks for being here,
Pree
